McDonald's has rounded Americans into form...for sitting on the couch. Taco Bell does its work on our waistline, too. We in the U.S. maul some Chipotle and that leaves us looking fit for nothing.

The world has a view Americans don't move much.

Ask the folks in Sweden if Americans can move.

Through Friday, Day 9 of the World Masters Athletics Championships in Gothenburg, Sweden, the U.S. team led all countries with 202 medals. Germany was second with 159.

The U.S. led with 88 gold medals. Germany was second with 62. Many Americans went 4,000 miles for this.

Here is the rundown.

Brian Tullis of Carmel, Indiana, set a world record in the 800 for Men 50 going 1:57.98.

Neringa Jakstiene of Memphis equaled a world record in the high jump for Women 60 going 1.48 meters, or 4.85 feet.

Ian Weakley of Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, North Carolina area, set a world record in the 400 meter hurdles in Men 50 going 54.91 seconds.

The U.S. also set world records in the 4x100 meter relay for Men 70 (51.12) and 4x100 for Men 55 (45.07).
