A couple of quick items:
I belong to more than a few Facebook groups and here is a snippet from Mr. Frank Ng in a Runners Over 70s group.
"High 5 to you all!!! Today is a very special day for me. I absolutely surprised myself by breaking my own planking record in 17 minutes 50 seconds. It’s almost surreal for me but I’ll take it."
Over 70. I'm sure there are people over 70 who can plank longer, but the pride in Frank's exercise is what is striking.
Here is what's special about this guy. He participated in the National Senior Games for the first time and finished 17th, out of 28, in the M70-74 400 and he posted the results for everyone to see... again with pride. A lot of people wouldn't have done that.
It's on my bucket list now, the 12-hour walk. There are some ambitious Geezer Jocks who do 12-hour runs in Ultras, so surely I can do a 12-hour walk. I'm thinking about scheduling sooner, rather than later, being 65, and all.
If you are reading this, where is the best place do you think for a 12-hour walk? Somewhere in Florida? California?
Can you pass along a tip where to go, please. Just remember, gotta have cell service on the route in case the meat wagon has to come get me.

He's famous and in The Wall Street Journal, so this 83-year old soccer coach might be done with doing media, or else I would track him down as a future Geezer Jock story. In any case, here is a link.
