1) Just Walk
For those of you who think Geezer Jock is all about heroism of older people. It's not. GJ is about this, too.
"Above all, do not lose your desire to walk. Everyday, I walk myself into a state of well-being & walk away from every illness. I have walked myself into my best thoughts, and I know of no thought so burdensome that one cannot walk away from it. But by sitting still, & the more one sits still, the closer one comes to feeling ill. Thus if one just keeps on walking, everything will be all right."
Søren Kierkegaard, Danish theologian and philosopher.
2) My Guys
It's safe to click on this. Geezer Jocks as a team.
3) Mindfulness
It is one of the hardest skills to master, but it pays off. I think mindfulness is why certain athletes become professionals and others don't make it.
You are not trying out for the Bears, so the pressure is. But read this to help steer you through a short workout.
One blurb:
"When athletes are able to refocus their attention and be present in the moment, their performance usually improves."

“I have walked myself into my best thoughts, and I know of no thought so burdensome that one cannot walk away from it.” What a great line! Thanks for this terrific little post. It was just what I needed today.
