I know plenty of 50-year old's that still play soccer. There are 60s mixed into the games, as well. They are not afraid to play with kids and young adults.
But, at some point, they have to slow down...and walk and play the game. Arthritis, bad knees, whatever.
So why not walk and play? There is such a thing as Walking Soccer.
Gather a group and make your own rules. You can have sprains and collisions, which makes it real.
Get a soccer ball, markers for goal posts (or cheap goals from Dicks or Wal-Mart, and gather soccer lovers.
It is a medium-intensity workout and social interaction. Go for it.
